Palmistry is an old skill. It has been known at least couple of thousand years in ancient cultures like Indian, Arabic, Chinese and Greek culture.
All those cultures read hands the same way and told the same explanations. The shape of the hand, fingers, nails, lines told the same story where ever the hands were shown to the people who had learned this very complicated skill.
Aristoteles brought palmistry to Europe. Aleksander the Great, whose teacher Aristoteles was, picked his most important soldiers based on what kind of character palmistry showed in their hands.
Henriette, also known by name Mysantine, has studied palmistry from books and in practise for over 20 years trying to learn the real meanings of the marks, lines and signs of the hands – and found out how unique hands can be! Palmistry is not easy, every sign has an influence to the other signs, and there are dozens of them, even a hundred or more.
Aristoteles said: ”There is no line in a hand that would not have a meaning”
In a hand much is inherited from former generations, the shape of the hand, the big lines - but smaller lines and some marks come from the use of the individual person’s brains. They tell what kind of thoughts one has and what kind of problems to solve, or ambitions in mind – also in matters of love. Small lines change all the time, that is why famous hand readers meet their customers more than once, to learn about the changes and development in life.
The explanation to this phenomena of how lines are drawn in the hand is the nervous system, which draws the lines and brings the messages from the brain and sometimes also from other parts of the body, like heart. This is how the system is understood, it is very much the same as the idea of acupuncture. Science does not say a word to confirm this, but there are tens of university studies about fingers and what their length tells about the characteristics of a person. The results are very near what palmistry has been telling us for thousands of years. Here is an example:
The Financial Times wrote 13.9.2009:
”It´s all in the Fingers – top traders hold the clue to success in their hand
. Scientists link ratio of digits to profitability.”
The newspaper tells what the Cambridge university study found out :
"The longer the fourth digit in relation to the second, the more money the traders are likely to make" Those traders make eleven times more money than others and stay in the profession longer than others.
In Palmistry a very long fourth digit is known as a gamblers finger and a very short second digit is a salesmans finger. Together they make a very good and devoted trader, indeed! Simple, when you know it. - So that is very signifigant combination thinking of a persons career and preferences, but if you think of the whole personality, it is still only a part of the picture of characteristics what the hand can tell.
