Kohtaan joka ystävänpäivä saman ongelman: miten ylitän vuodentakaisen itseni? Tykkään yllättää ja lahjoa ystäviäni ja miestäni, mutta ideat alkavat pikkuhiljaa loppumaan. Onneksi muistin tämän Siperianhuskyn postauksen viime syyskuulta, ja menin Elämyslahjojen sivuille etsimään jotakin hauskaa ja ainutkertaista tekemistä.

Jos haluaa itsekin päästä nauttimaan lahjasta (ja tietenkin lahjottavan seurasta!), kannattaa hankkia elämys kahdelle.
Koska halusin tehdä jotakin täysin uutta ja unohtumatonta, valitsin sukelluskokeilun sisätila-altaassa. Kysyin Elämyslahjoilta, voisinko tehdä esittelyn tästä elämyksestä blogissa, ja he lähtivät ilomielin blogiyhteistyöhön. Kokemus oli ihan huikea! Lisäksi mieheni oli tyytyväinen, kun ysätävänpäivän juhliminen ei tarkoittanutkaan ruusuja, suklaata ja kynttilänvaloa :D Niin minäkin, sillä vaikka pidän suklaasta ja ruusuista, ei paikallaan istuminen todellakaan ole minun juttuni.
Kuvasin uudella GoPro-kamerallani videon vedenalaisesta seikkailusta. Siitä tuli aika kiva, ja kuten huomaatte, romantiikkaa voi harrastaa myös vähän erilaisilla treffeillä. Videon näet täällä.
Sukelluskokeiluun piti saapua uikkarin ja pyyhkeen kanssa. Lisäksi piti allekirjoittaa lappu, jossa todettiin, että ei ole mitään sairauksia, jotka estäisivät sukeltamisen. Ilmeisesti tämä on lähinnä muodollisuus, koska sisäaltaassa sukeltaminen on melko turvallista. Itse koulutus alkoi varusteiden esittelyllä ja niiden päällepukemisella. Kävimme lyhyesti läpi käsimerkit sekä sen, mitä missäkin vaiheessa tapahtuu. Tähän meni n. puoli tuntia, ja sitten pääsimmekin jo veteen.
Sukeltaminen tuntui aluksi todella oudolta! Tunteeseen kuitenkin tottui, kun pääsi kunnolla veden alle. Minulla oli ollut flunssa, joten jouduin tasaamaan painetta aika usein, sillä korviani särki. Sitä siis teen videolla ja kuvissa, kun otan nenästäni kiinni.
Kokemus oli kyllä niin ikimuistoinen, että suunnittelen jo seuraavaa kertaa! Kokeilusta olisi ollut mahdollista jatkaa alkeiskurssilla, mutta kokeilu oli Helsingissä, joten sinne on vähän turhan pitkä ajomatka. Kesällä kuitenkin voisin kokeilla jotakin muuta, sillä Elämyslahjoilla on runsaasti kivoja vesi-aktiviteetteja. Minua kiinnostaa esimerkiksi tuo Bodyboarding/Flowboarding - siis surffausta turvassa hailta ja merileviltä! :) Hintakaan ei ole paha.
Kaiken kaikkiaan elämys oli ihan mahtava, ja voin kyllä suositella muillekin. Jonkun verran alussa minulla oli hiukan paniikinomainen ahtaan paikan kammo, mutta siitä pääsi yli. Jos on vakavampaa taipumusta tuohon vaivaan, harkitsisin ehkä kaksi kertaa. Jos se on lievänä, ei mitään hätää - tunne menee ohi kun veden alla hengittämiseen tottuu. Varoituksen sana: sukelluskokeilun jälkeen voi tulla himo sukeltaa uudelleen, niin kivaa se oli!
