You're not afraid of the dark but of what's in it.
You're not afraid of heights but of falling.
You're not afraid of people around you but of rejection.
You're not afraid to love but of not being loved back.
You're not afraid to let go but to accept the reality that's s/he's gone.
You're not afraid to try again but of getting hurt for the same reason.
